The Festival Artesanías de América Handicrafts of America Festival organized by CIDAP, the Inter-American Center for Handicrafts and Popular Arts, was held in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador, from November 2 to 6, with the participation of more than 100 artisans from Ecuador and other countries. such as Chile and Paraguay.
Picaia, artisanal design of origin was invited to participate and exhibited for sale series 2 of the Thirdlings: Watcher, Plutonia, Fortress, Twins and Qulebra.
A pleasant surprise was receiving an honorable mention in the Medal for Crafts awarded by the festival. The Thirdlings designs by Nuno Acosta and handmade by Juan Orrala were considered to win the medal. We hope next year to go for the jackpot.
